How do you define toxic, out of curiosity?

I don't really take that seriously - AFAIK it's really rare and mostly gets overblown in a way that exploits people's preexisting anxieties over being secretly sinful. Sure, if you're the center of a media shitstorm it may impact your career, but that's not unique to SJW stuff.

here's the truth: it's only rare because there are only so many zealots and they have limited time on their hands. there ARE zealots though and if they decide to target you we see how it goes and how readily employers capitulate to their pressure tactics.

in a sane world employers would have some spine and tell zealots to get fucked, possibly even pursue legal remedies if certain lines are crossed. this doesn't happen. we live in an insane world.

see, I agree with this - problem is, every time the ingroup brings it up it's made specific to the sjw frame, as if this isn't a thing that happens when you piss off any group from kpop stans to the religious right, as if employers aren't usually cowards who bow to any pressure

we are all missing the forest for the trees here. what SSC did was accidentally recreate the material conditions of SA's LF subforum, with almost exactly the same outcome, minus alexander getting a visit from a three letter org
