it's been a while since i've gone more than 48 hours, but i remember noticing some cognitive improvement. several studies suggest fasting increases longevity in smaller mammals and that it can have a surprising impact on blood pressure, cholesterol, cancer, etc.

personally, i can relate overwhelmingly to prop 1 in your original tweet. growing up, i mysteriously lacked a sense of hunger or desire to seek out food, but my mother quickly learned when i needed to eat, because i became insufferably bratty.
