One option: Take a hunger suppressant that is an anger suppressant. This can indicate whether “feeling hungry” leads to anger or something else. Another option: take a vacation from your social context and then skip a meal@or two while there

Goddamnit I meant one that isn’t an anger suppressant

how about keeping a spreadsheet of your perceived mood, volatility, cognitive acuity, energy, etc. and trying a few different calorie compositions, including none? (is your health good enough (blood pressure, insulin sensitivity) that you could try fasting for at least 48 hours?)

my blood pressure is medicated but good in its medicated state, i have no idea where my insulin sensitivity is at, i feel like 48 hours fasting wouldn't do me any physical harm but i dread its effect on my mood and concentration
