sounds suspiciously like you're trying to get me to clearly articulate my opinion and reasons for it idea is that since straightforward attempts to Do Good are usually massive fuckups maybe exerting superficially nonsensical pressures is the way to go

i would say that is more a particular oblique altruism strategy i suspect a lot of other ones would treat root causes and remedies as pure fictions
