Yes, and it works. I've ironically acted like I'm the greatest, and then I started believing it, and then everyone else started believing it (mostly because I also acted like *they* were the greatest, too). Irony will save humanity, as long as you're sincere about it.

yea I tried ironic positivity once on my alt. felt shallowly happy once the experiment took hold. thr lack of substance made me uneasy so I ended the experiment and returned to my usual self.

I used to do the reverse. I had an absurdly high opinion of me but was self-aware (and considerate?) enough to mask it as humorous boastful cockiness. I suppose one could use that to kick start genuine self regard.
