This is why I'm enjoying the shit out of Fallout 76 right now. All this salt about bethesda, but they've yet to put out a fallout title I didn't have a fucking blast playing.

Tough shit, game's fun. I just got finished pulverizing a small village full of scorched using copious amounts of grenades and it was GLORIOUS. Then someone dropped a nuke on Whitesprings (common trading hub) and everything got crazy for a while. High level ghouls EVERYWHERE.

/shrug Every time Bethesda puts out a game, people trip over themselves to show how special they are for hating it. But in the end, we all buy it. Why? Because Bethesda makes really fun, really buggy games. You know what you're getting into when you buy a bethesda game.

I'm convinced this is why they have such TERRIBLE customer service/relations. They KNOW that people will complain no matter what they do. And that sales will be good regardless. So why even put any effort in? It's been the same shit since Morrowind.

honestly this is the first Bethesda game i've had negative anticipation of having started with Daggerfall, but this all sounds plausible

They could name the next Elder Scrolls game: "Another Game on the Morrowind Engine: Shut Up and Buy It, Fuckface" And people would be SO MAD. And it would sell a gajillion copies. And it would still be a hot mess of buggy fun. That's just how she goes at Bethesda, apparently.
