The jump from "people on Twitter can't reason about ethics" to "reasoning about ethics is impossible" seems like a big one. Like maybe you are giving Twitter people too much credit.

that's the thing, though, is that i don't think they're reasoning poorly at all, i think they're doing a bang-up job of working out the necessary conclusions of the premises they were told it was noble to believe in and this is where that process lands
