i'm sure it's not safe to explain myself but one of the missing stairs used to be that if you pissed off the ADL in some fashion, like with anti-Zionism, you'd get unpersoned and hassled in a way that seems very much of a piece with current practice

broadly, we just have endless repetition of the legibility problem. to make ideas more legible they must be simplified. simplification means reduction and context collapse. reduction and context collapse means loss of meaning. loss of meaning leads to naked factionalism.
