not specifically but that feels related, what i meant is how so many things that purport to be describing knowledge are prescribing knowledge. like idk if you noticed but almost everything claiming to be a work of magickal theory is a work of magickal practice

According to google, epistogony is a made up word that doesn't exist and I was really trying to search for epistemology, wasn't I? Clearly there's a conspiracy.

I somehow care deeply about the word "epistemology" (Dad often used this word to introduce all sciences, before I went with the word empirical). Bringing it up made me look for its branching. Epístamai (Science), from epí (before) + hístēmi (standing). Before + (under) + standing
