"don't let me forget that i want to make a soulripper rifle that destructively extracts a neurocognitive map of a target and 3d prints a data disc that you can load into an armband and if you have a working HUD gives you combat bonuses vs. and +rep with the target's factions"

people who don't want a pile of disc's everywhere anytime anything goes wrong
-
aw, it'll be nostalgic, like as if AOL were still a thing
-
unless you can throw the disks like shuriken to run away from people i don't see the point
-
the design i'm actually thinking of would accumulate neural data until you hit print so it wouldn't be so messy
-
you know the functional conetrome for a fruit fly is several TB of data? humans are orders of magnitude more complex to get several people on a disk you would need godlike compression and storge methods

I don't. This would basically mean having a copy of all of someone's opinions. We already have this in twitter and it's not a desirable product.
-
oh, it'd be that, but it'd also be a copy of what they *really* think
-
how do you feel that would be, better, or worse?
