just remembered the time i took the ICCP C language exam through @ExcelsiorColl, they scored it with the wrong answer key so i got 25% of the questions right, i pointed this out and they were like "our extremely great psychometrician took a look, everything is fine"

i.e. if you gave me that type of test on a subject i knew absolutely nothing about, court protocols of the Qin Dynasty, designed to be devilishly tricky, i would get far more than 25% right and would likely pass

weird format for a coding test. were they asking, like, various trivia that you might have memorized from the language spec?

i don't recall all that well but i think there was a little of that but mostly it was code sample behavior analysis
