I have discovered that killing people with words is generally very challenging, and killing me with words is pretty much impossible, so I have come to conclusion that stalling interventions as long as specimens limit themselves to words is entirely viable.
-
Serious specimens rarely limit themselves to just words, but also rarely shut up, so I guess there's a begining of a viable profiling mechanism there.
-
having said that, I suspect that howler/hunter distinction holds to some degree for politics, so speech-based heuristics may be liable to overdetect near-harmless dweebs and underdetect people who smuggle a proudly handmade IED into your event
