I agree it was a good movie, but I didn't catch the subtext about the internet in it. Guess I'll have to see it again.

I don't know about "superb". The first hour-ish was kind of terrible, at least the introduction and death of characters we were supposed to care about all in the space of like 10 minutes really didn't make any damn sense. After that is good, though.

Maybe not "terrible" but it felt like the first part was a bunch of paint by numbers stuff to establish backstory where the outcome was already known so everything seemed a little phoned in. But maybe it's just that prequels are a bad idea in general.

Sometimes the hate for something on the internet, when you read between the lines, can be the very thing that draws you towards it in the end. The reverse is often true as well- perhaps it's the rebel in some of us, perhaps tastes too refined for the palate(s?) of the masses
