little bit ago i unwisely participated in a thread touching on polyamory and wound up seeing a bunch of people completely independently bring up the idea that polyamory is code for women going out and getting laid while men, i dunno, sit home and cry into their vidya i guess

The groove nowadays is not so much 'look for partners' as 'allow partners to happen, being super upfront about the limited amount of schedule time and emotional bandwidth available' and this results in low number/high quality opportunities
