Never heard that theory, the usual theory I hear is they want to increase multikulti in order to increase racial tension, which they can exploit in a diversion/divide and conquer way.

ahh of course, that's precious because when you're a minority population that's culturally distinctive as a matter of religious practice, obviously your focus isn't Maslow tier 1 survival, it's Maslow tier 5 self-actualization as an evil supervillain
-
It's pretty hard to dispute most are pretty secure on the Maslow tiers and succeeding, the focus on self-actualization pretty evident from all the psychotherapy and introspection and what-not :^) Abraham Maslow being a prime example.
-
uh... i mean... you realize this is this is the same logic used by the people who have decided that no white people have any problems because Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos exist, right
-
Talking about on average, doesn't apply to everyone of course, and being healthy in one area of course doesn't mean healthy in all. But it's pretty irrefutable most Jews have to worry less about basic needs. Just look at this.pic.twitter.com/jQjnZpVVgt

okay. do you get how there being a literal tradition of pogroms is a kind of tier 1 insecurity that income level doesn't address and, to the even slightly historically minded, even exacerbates?

dude, about 1/4 of muh goobmint's propaganda can be boiled down to "not constantly messing up.people you vaguely dislike is evil", some of it with not too subtle "and makes you pawn of Israel" vibe
-
i hope you don't mind me saying so but it's possible ya goobmint is not great

Here in Texas, I know some virulently Republican Jews. Proud Confederates. Boggles my mind.

Do those places include Israel?
-
no, this is diaspora Jew behavior
-
This is almost inevitable. People who actively desire to live in other societies instead of one comprised primarily of their own ethnoreligious demographic are inherently prone to scoring higher on measures of openness to experience, tolerance, pluralism, etc. Very simple.
-
I would bet a decent sum of money on exactly the same pattern holding for expats of other ethnic backgrounds, relative to their home countries, on average.
-
The fact that members of the diaspora population are not expats per se is qualitatively irrelevant, since the option of a more uniform home country still exists.
-
Also worth highlighting exceptions. E.g. in the UK, Jewish voters support the Conservatives roughly 2-to-1: the opposite of the pattern in the U.S. This is presumably because the left in the UK has become tacitly anti-Semitic by pandering to a particular other minority group.

Probably it’s not even, “because Jews,” but like some kind of human impulse.
-
I associate “Because Jews” with the most feeble powers of criticism.
