Can't walk past a statue in any game anymore without wasting a round in its face. JUST TO BE SURE.

which bioshock is this? I only played the first one. It was ok, but did not live up to the gallons of spilled nerdjizz. Never looked at the other two.

tbf I absolutely want reminder cards for problems because fuuuuuck writing down notes in pencil for a gd videogame, fuck that for life

Respectfully disagree. The utter lack of notes or handholding was why I loved Morrowind so much. I had PAGES of paper notes for that game and its unmarked quests. Curing vampirism and finding the Deadric Face of God were two insane things I managed.

oh god that is exactly why I hated Morrowind so much. That and it nailed the sandbox problem of "You can do anything!" immediately translating into "...and literally none of it feels important or meaningful". it was sartre: the videogame

Replying to @palecur @Jimityjam and
I want quest markers on the HUD, a list of quests so I don't lose track, and I want repeatable NPC dialogue so if I miss the guy saying where the thing is I'm not fucked forever

Hahahaha! We clearly want very different things from our games. My all time faves are Morrowind, S.T.A.L.K.E.R and Dorf Fortress. TBH, I kind of hope when (if) they finish Skywind, they deliberately remove quest markers and fast travel.

yep, we are Different Demos -- could not stand STALKER, which desperately needed heavy amounts of auto-aim to be at all playable, but I do love DF.

i sometimes wonder if you could just plunk the 36 Lessons of Vivec down in a different game and i would like it as much as Morrowind
