1. @TeamYouTube by banning @sewernugget you've only made it so more people seek out her content to see what all the fuss is about. by not allowing conversations you don't like to take place on your platform, you are making them one sided and pushing people further to the fringes

@TeamYouTube trigger warnings are useful because they allow difficult discussions to happen even if they might be hard for some individuals to take part in. why don't you just add trigger warnings to any you don't like and allow your intelligent users to formulate responses?1 reply 0 retweets 0 likesShow this thread -

@TeamYouTube no one can learn anything if you remove the discussion entirely, and in fact, people are further radicalized when you ban them outright. you force them to be more critical of you and your beliefs.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likesShow this thread -

@YouTube@TeamYouTube had soph been able to remain on your platform perhaps your other users could have talked some sense into her. people do reaction/response videos all the time. commentary channels are some of the most popular on your site, and people love a good debate.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likesShow this thread -

@TeamYouTube@YouTube but by removing her without substantial counterarguments you only legitimize her words and give her the final say. how are we supposed to grow in understanding if discussions aren't allowed to happen at all?1 reply 0 retweets 0 likesShow this thread -

@TeamYouTube@YouTube the fact is,@sewernugget didn't incite violence. she critiqued a movement, one that you claim to support. if you truly want to foster an environment of learning/acceptance you would allow her critique to be fully explored by creators who oppose it1 reply 0 retweets 0 likesShow this thread
7. perhaps those at @TeamYouTube simply agree with soph's claims. they feel it would be impossible to disprove them, so they remove them so they don't have to question them....
