Somewhere in that galaxy a person / creature / thing is gazing at a telescope photo of our galaxy, wondering if life might exist there or anywhere in the universe.

With distances like these, does anyone still think humans will ever go beyond solar system? But there is only6 one way to reach even then "end" of universe; with your brain, when you imagine/think you are there. Right now I am in this galaxy. Capisce?

Today Chandra is gazing at a group of galaxies in Serpens, "the Serpent." Nearby in the sky is NGC 6118, a grand design spiral galaxy located about 83 million light years from Earth. This galaxy hosted a supernova explosion seen in 2004 that has since faded with time.
