Check out release V1.0.0 of openEyeTrack, our open source high-speed, multi-threaded eye-tracker. openEyeTrack can provide eye tracking at ~700 frames/sec for < 1000 dollars. We are currently validating it in behavioral experiments.

Our attempt () to understand how visual and auditory cues are combined in detection tasks across a large range of intensities and delays is now out. We show that a model with a deadline for a response provides the best descriptions of the behavioral data.

Very happy to promote our latest article, a review paper in which we (with Matt Carland and Paul Cisek) argue that an urgency-based mechanism provides a potential link between personality traits (e.g. impulsivity) and some clinical disorders (e.g. Parkinson’s disease).

Find it hard to sit still? You're not alone: during expert decision-making, mice explore a rich movement landscape that profoundly shapes neural activity. To solidify & communicate our finding, we added recordings to our paper & made a cake.
