Last month, Gathered Table specialist and chef-founder of the Kricket Indian restaurants in London, Will Bowlby joined our team in a client lunch takeover. It was an excellent opportunity for the team to cook alongside an inspirational and adored chef. 👨‍🍳

The eight-week trainee course is accredited by the Specialty Coffee Association. Each graduate has gained the globally recognised Foundation Barista Skills qualification, plus Level 2 in both Customer Service and Food Service. ☕️

The graduation ceremony took place at RSA House, where our team, the Well Grounded team and coffee industry colleagues gathered as graduates showcased their learnings by running a pop-up coffee shop and shared their personal journeys ahead of moving into employment at CH&CO.

Our Well Grounded Barista trainees are now graduates! 🎓 After eight weeks of training, dedication and 4 weeks of work placement across 12 of our sites, we got to celebrate with our trainees on their graduation day.

They have been making cheese for over 200 years! 🧀 The team recently paid them a visit for a fantastic tasting session. Going to the source of ingredients and learning about the production process is a key to our chefs' development and a great source of inspiration.

We work all over the UK and Ireland and no matter where we operate, we are always on the lookout for local suppliers to support the local economy and decrease food miles. One of the companies in our London Larder is Paxton and Whitfield.
