Black men under this tweet need to do better. No way for Monique to get $500,000 when DERAY Davis got $5 million. And they wanted her to sign a 360 deal anyways. I love a woke King .

500k was a pitiful offer, but that’s the type of lowball offer one gets whenHollywood doesn’t want to work with you.
-
If they didnt want to work with her why did they come to her shows to watch her perform and then offer her a deal? Stop acting as if she came to them. They wanted to work with her.
-
They offered her an “olive branch”. Netflix was trying to help her re-brand & fix her image. Was 500k a low ball offer, yes! But what did she expect when a large segment of Hollywood said she is difficult to work with. By the way, most of the complaints came from Black people..
-
I dont know what her work ethic is or isnt but Im not buying Tyler Perry, Oprah &Lee Daniels being a large segment of Hollywood when they were the ones that got mad she didnt want to work for free&started that rumor to begin with. And correct me if Im wrong, but I havent known of
-
They’re not the only voices in Hollywood to speak out about Mo’Nique’s behavior. Did you hear the questions Angela Yee asked Mo’Nique? She gave names. And if you think the Oprah, Tyler & Lee are not a large segment of Hollywood, especially Black Hollywood, then you’re mistaken.
-
Waiting for the Wanda explanation tho. And I didnt hear the breakfast club interview completely so who else did Angela name? And you said large segment as if it was hundreds of ppl speaking on her. They are a small segment that happens to be powerful, which is a difference.
-
I never said hundreds, but Oprah, Tyler, Lee, and the Ebony executive Ms. Yee mentioned is enough to show a pattern of bad behavior from Mo’nique.

who’s mo’nique
-

Netflix approached her in the 1st place. They know.
-
Obviously they know her. But she’s not bringing anything to the table that would have them throwing money at her. 2 months ago, no one was talking about Mo’nique... in 2 more months. We won’t be talking about her again.
-
Right cause ppl talking about DeRay Davis so much...? Or Any Shumers movies that flopped? Stop. They low balled her and then tried to give her a 360 contract. Y'all trying too hard to make it seem like that deal was anywhere near fair. Smhpic.twitter.com/kiG3enywbo

Yeah! He’s more relevant than Monique ! Lol. Prior to this shit , you weren’t given a damn about what the hell she was doing. Lol

-
False. And I seen her August 5th last year so lie again. Just like no one is actively checking for Eddie Murphy but I guarantee you if Netflix came to him for a deal, he's getting $30 mill EASILY!
-
She’s NOT EDDIE MURPHY!!! Lmao

@moworldwide@Kaepernick7 made the ultimate sacrifice will benefit the next. She’s always fought the powers for equal pay and respect. We must stop this stupid divisive dispute & support our black women who we know are underpaid. That offer@netflix@iamwandasykes is an insult -
If you don’t mind me asking, what makes this matter “stupid and divisive”? Just curious.
-
It’s stupid and devisive that we are telling another woman she doesn’t deserve to be paid. This is not our argument to defend them.
-
When she was I suited with the Netflix offer she shopped her deal elsewhere. I just saw it on I believe Showtime. If
@moworldwide feels she is being lowballed just as you or I for a job, she can shop her deal with other outlets. -
You need to get on code. And really protect the greater good. Black people if we want to can shut Netflix down, why would you not want “the man” to believe we can unite for justice and equality for all of us, no matter who?
-
Don’t know what you mean by “on code” but I will not knock her but also will not support the boycott. Thank you
-
I can RESPECT that.
-
Respect for you as well.
