CSS is a typed language.
Its full of enums, functions and errors, but current tools barely give any of this feedback.

I'm looking for a nutrition tracking app that:
a) isn't centered on weight as basis for goals
b) tracks all nutrients (not just macros)
c) allows arbitrary serving-size adjustments (ie, convert between units)
d) has a solid DB
e) has a nice UX
f) syncs w/ Apple Health

just to counter @mark_volkmann — we didn't choose snake_case on a whim, there's actual science behind it. camelCase has been shown to take longer and require more effort to read. and that's before you consider the sheer oddness of mismatched case in e.g. `foo.isFoo`

I guess what I’m asking is if Ruby is conceptually adjacent enough to JS or even PHP for me to get the gist in the process of learning Rails, or would I need to dedicate a few hours on the language itself?
