Gays integrated into society largely because we seek out gay partners of the same sex and build independent lives. Controversy was about social acceptance of the concept. A lesbian transwoman does not seek out another lesbian transwoman. The concept requires participation.

It is this imposition, along with the growing bullying and authoritarianism of trans activism, which attempts to reframe all of society through a trans filter, that creates both discomfort and resentment. 'There is something wrong with you for not dating me' is the message.

Transgender ideology requires *everyone* change their views, both personally and globally, and participate in the new social structure. Gays only asked for tolerance and access to legal standards to define and protect our relationships and families. Its different.

This participation is compulsory and associated with stigma. 'You must view my male body as female and verbally agree I was always female, otherwise you are an uneducated, hateful bigot!' Outside of liberals eager for peer validation, average society will never accept this.

The uncomfortable truth here is LGBT has convinced a generation they will live a life of joyful freedom if only they drastically alter their bodies to conform to an idealized sense of gender and the only obstacle will be hatred and intolerance from others. It is profoundly cruel

It is a reality that this situation is unfair to people who either suffer from gender dysphoria or who simply wish to live as the other gender. But our society of absolute personal fulfillment chooses to ignore that we cannot coerce others to validate us.

*Update* Quite a few trans individuals have told me they know of or personally date other trans individuals. While the details bring into question sexual orientation (the basis of LGBT legal protections), it is not for me to say they are wrong. But it also reaffirms my argument.

If this is truly the case, despite the majority of trans media and advocacy arguments, then we must ask why trans activism is so focused, primarily, on targeting 'TERFS', women, largely lesbians, with hatred, violence and silencing. Why would there be a need to seek them out?

It also begs the question as to why there is such aggressive focus on demanding non-trans people (99% of humanity) to view male reproductive organs as female, for example. If trans comfortably date other trans, there would be no effort to coerce avg people.

So I leave this argument separating two distinct concepts that address the same issue. Both assertions require acceptance of a new way of viewing gender and sexuality in order to function properly. Both place demands on the majority of people to accommodate a tiny minority.

Furthermore, it must be stated that the hostility and aggression towards those who challenge these ideas does nothing but create resentment. If trans activists want us to understand their views, they must first stop attacking and attempting to silence all who ask questions.
