It is not debatable that we have a constitutional right to have firearms. The only thing that is up for debate is the degree to which we regulate that right. Your comment about the AK-47 is nonsensical given they are already illegal (w/o a permit) since they are fully automated.

They aren't all illegal. Ak-47s are available semi-auto and automatic. Semi-auto are legal to purchase and own with a background check in our Constitutional Republic. Fully auto require a completed ATF Form 4 application, background check, fingerprints and up to a year approval.

Thanks Brian. I had thought fully automatic AK-47s were only legal if made before 1986 (they're grandfathered in & can be bought if you have like 20K+ & went through a long process) and that the larger concern were the modification kits to convert semiautomatic into automatic.
