What on earth did we ever do that enabled Obama to become president? Al Sharpton running around the White House helping to sharpen and widen the racial divide -- 8 years of that nearly wiped out the work done in 1965....
Every few weeks or so, I will pause from life & contemplate how—like making excuses for an abusive relative—we pretended that America was not, in fact, as racist & sexist & classicist as it actually is & somehow enabled Donald Trump to become president of the United States.
