We need to do more than describe what’s happening; we need to not allow it to continue crumbling. We need to transform it, and quickly. A total crumbling of American democracy would be a catastrophe not only for us but for the world.
I majored in Classical Studies because even in the early 2000s, it was clear to me that the American empire was subject to crumble like Rome. None of this wasn't predictable.
