So that in the end, the organizing process is reflecting the writing process. It’s the best I’ve been able to do. I still find poems I forgot I wrote and resurrect them. It’s almost another/additonal way to be in conversation with my work.
Excellent question. Every time I think I have a system it fails. Special folders. Eh. A spreadsheet of every poem I’ve ever written. Eh. What I’ve found is best is the process of trying a new organizing process every few years as my work itself shifts.
