Was thinking about how opioid casualties are like World War I. Every town lost people during that war. Every peer group has a friend who died there. Vietnam as bad as it wasn’t, wasn’t like that. Opioids tho … most of us have lost at least one person to it.

There’s 10,000 people who want a blue check and would pay for every “thought leader” butt hurt that their relative internet social status will decline if it’s opened up. I only got mine years ago cuz had dozens of impersonators. Opening up the blue check is well overdue!

Guys need to drop the GWOT mentality. Afghanistan was shooting fish in a barrel — air support, fire superiority, etc. The conflicts the regime wants to be in won’t be like that. Will be horrible casualty rates. And that should be communicated over & over to younger generations.

My great uncle, healthy guy, dropped dead at 42 from a sudden heart attack. No warning signs. Decades ago. Long before the 💉 So obviously this stuff happened well before 2020 - 2022. Would like to see a baseline rate of cardiac incidents. Are researchers doing this?

82% of black Democrats say violent crime is important to their vote compared to 1/3 of white Democrats. That is my world. Many (not all) of my acquaintances downplay crime. It's a liberal tic because they feel talking about crime is racist. Actually, its sorta the opposite.
