    What’s worse is we’re destroying their homes, history, livelihood & families without a care or thought in the world. This has to stop. This has to change. They are one of our greatest ally’s in this fight. For me, they have more of a right to the land & natural world than us.

    Don’t forget just because it’s only knocking on our door now, doesn’t mean it hasn’t been happening for the last few years. The indigenous communities around have been feeling the effects of climate change for years & have been living on the front line. This this is nothing new..

    We have to do all we can to amplify their voices, their struggle and support them in the fight against this rapidly changing world. This year it feels even more poignant given the extreme weather we’re seeing all around the world.

    They are the ones we should be listening to, turning too & learning from. Their wisdom & knowledge has to be preserved. It can teach us so much & help us as we try fight the climate crisis. Their history, life, practices, culture & world is something that needs to be protected.
