The use-case is that I’m watching a video while browsing through these table cells of related videos, and tapping “...” to add a few to my “watch later” list. Missing the “...” button of course means the cell gets the tap, which starts playing that video immediately 2/
@TeamYouTube can you guys tweak the touch area of the “...” button in these table cells? Believe it or not, I frequently miss that button by tapping to the right of it, in the tiny l sliver between that button and the edge of the screen 1/

This is terrible, because when you hit the back button to recover from your mistake, the previous video starts over again from the beginning. So annoying! I am literally doing this every few minutes while watching YouTube. Very frustrating. 3/

In apps I’ve worked on, when we have a sitaution like this, we always extend the touch area of a button like that all the way to the edge of the screen. But really, I’d bet the root problem is that the touch area isn’t even 44x44, which is the minimum as per the HIG

Also, unrelated rant: your app gets killed _all the time_ on my iPhone 6. Just switching to twitter for 5 minutes to write this thread was enough to kill my youtube app (which also doesn’t resume the previous video when relaunched after being killed!). Memory hog, I’d guess?
