Scientific experts shouldn’t be made to respond to an elections pundit
-
It’s a question of public opinion and how public statements effect it Political pundits have more expertise on that than FDA

If people being "cancelled" is a real phenomenon why do I keep hearing about Nate Silver cosplaying as an epidemiologist and utterly disgracing himself the whole time. This isn't even the first time he's done this during THIS PANDEMIC
-
How is he cosplaying an epidemiologist he’s just stating the very clear to see public backlash that comes from recalls of vaccines esp given the increase of anti-vaccine people and the politicization of the issue

Vaccine suppliers are still sending out reminders about their J&J vaccine appointments, then turning people away without clear messaging when they arrive. You don't need a peer-reviewed study to know that's going to undermine confidence.
-
My governor has been begging for more access to vaccines because we are trending toward our worst outbreak ever. Pulling the rug out on J&J may be fine where you are, but here it's going to kill people, and one need not be an infectious disease expert to grok that.
