Jlink seems like a game changer. Being able to ship self contained apps is a big deal.

Not sure this apply in the world of JavaEE containers. Might have an impact in µservices but given the fact that you embed half the world

Right, Oracle is giving the finger to JavaEE containers. However, depending on the package footprint, Jigsaw can be a big game changer.
