    It has been an intense couple of weeks and not quite over yet. As the vast majority push for higher, much needed ambition, here are a few things we want to see remain/be included in the agreement in the final hours.

    As comes to an end CDP is calling for an accountability system to be agreed. Final agreement must indicate how progress against commitments will be tracked, clarifying starting point for the Global Stocktake & conclude negotiations on transparency. 1/3

    Time for the final push & it is very clear that investors, business, cities, states, regions, civil society & citizens need government negotiators to agree a high ambition Glasgow text. Ultimately everyone will benefit from a safer world where warming is limited to 1.5C

    2/2 It's positive the draft include statements on phasing out coal & fossil fuel subsidies but crucial this remains in final agreement. A role for nature in the draft agreement is welcome, but it must be given the recognition it deserves & a seat at the table long-term.

    Great to see >1000 companies setting 1.5°C-aligned We need all companies to do so. >13,000 companies disclosed on climate through this year & we are working to ask all of those companies to step up.

    What happens within five years will determine whether net-zero by 2050 is achievable. Gov'ts whose NDCs are not in line w/ 1.5 °C must raise their ambition now & match commitments with immediate action to ensure we can limit global warming to 1.5 °C in the time we have left

    Breaking news! Climate disclosure by companies up by record breaking 37% this year to 13,100 in total. Big increases in forests >25% & water >15% too. Demonstrating that more companies than ever are engaged in climate & environmental action.

    Delighted to have this funding for so it can expand its vital work to create the standard for Net Zero commitments & ensure those commitments & targets are what the science demands. Big thanks & Great to see the climate justice focus too.
