    2/2 It's positive the draft include statements on phasing out coal & fossil fuel subsidies but crucial this remains in final agreement. A role for nature in the draft agreement is welcome, but it must be given the recognition it deserves & a seat at the table long-term.

    Any agreement must explicitly indicate how progress against commitments will be tracked, independently and objectively, clarifying the starting point for the Global Stocktake and conclude negotiations on transparency. We need an accountability system now 1/2
