You realize @JessicaValenti that he didn't just kill women nor pick a spot where women gather? Why does everyone want to claim this senseless act for their own cause? There are enough real examples of violence against women w/o this added to it.https://www.nytimes.com/2018/04/26/opinion/when-misogynists-become-terrorists.html …
That's like saying support groups for women to help them cope with abuse and bullying by men are "misandrist groups". Many incel have fled online from a torturous existence made so by the girls, then women in their lives.

You're demonstrating a deep ignorance of the subject matter. If that's your curt summary of the incel movement I deeply suggest you investigate further, as there are multiple legitimate issues many of these boys and men are experiencing that deserve our sympathy and attention.

Does your sympathy for all rape victims come to a screeching halt if you hear one say, "I hate men"? There are some vile people in incel, but we should do our best to carve out the boys and men that legitimately need help. All many have ever wanted was to be valued and heard.

There are many men in incel that have received torturous bullying from women since childhood; made to feel worthless and unworthy of basic love and respect. They've turned to peers who have experienced similar to share their pain and break their loneliness.

I'm comparing the misandry that can occur from a sexual assault to the misogyny that can occur from torturous bullying at the hands of girls and women growing up. That's not every member of incel, but they're the ones that could potentially benefit from our help and sympathy.
