I'm going to talk about a really wonderful financial app quite soon. I need to test it to my satisfaction. It is represented by a blue (turquoise) circle. Get ready for the Onye Nkuzi's app of the season. . . . .

One of my greatest challenges is accepting the fact that Nigeria is a country where many countries are forced to co-exist as one country. Understanding that from time to time, I will display my love for my tribe with no holds barred. I don’t really feel bad about it but ......

Must read from "This piece is not to talk about the reasons behind the restraint, but to point out that if the 380,000 people of Nigerian ancestry in the US had any organisational acumen, I daresay that the restriction would never have happened"

The way the Irish Diaspora is organized, certain issues will never be escalated. (NB: The visa lottery scheme was initially created for Irish immigrants).

The Nigerian Diaspora seriously needs to organize itself and lobby both the Nigerian and US governments, because both governments can make life very difficult for them. This has nothing to do with political ideology, it is practical commonsense.

"Don't criticize the leader, pray for him". This has gone on for more than 40 years - so what, exactly, has it accomplished? (I'm not saying we shouldn't pray for leaders, but by claiming we are "praying" and then keeping silent, what have we accomplished?).

Leadership need not be complex. If there's insecurity and poverty in the land, it is the leader's responsibility to fix those issues. There's no need to search the Bible for new justifications for incompetence.

There seems to be one standard for leaders in Africa, who are either "under bad spiritual influence" or have "bad advisers" - or whatever excuses are cooked up; and leaders in the West, who have a system of checks and balances and objective means of assessing their performance.

There should be an objective means of measuring a leader's performance, and leaders who don't perform should be told so, in no uncertain terms. I don't buy this, "the leader is not performing because he's under bad spiritual influence" - that's not how boards deal with CEOs.

We implore the CP to wade in before all Hell breaks loose. They will soon be arresting people they believe must have patronized Okada riders by breaking into homes. This must be addressed immediately.

Lagos, Nigeria. Some of the world's largest mega-cities this century will be in Africa. They will need infrastructure. China's Belt and Road Initiative is more in tune with the realities of this Century than random newspaper columns.

I dislike the "parte after parte" song - because it is; 1. Meaningless and pointless. 2. You can't get it out of your head.

This is super hilarious. Americans write whole books (and tweet) ALL THE TIME about literally every other country on earth - often in the most critical of tones. Your government even invades them at whim lol. Regardless, you’re welcome to tweet about Nigeria. Anytime.

The high ed level is extraordinary. Eg: while Jamaica has this growing offshore data entry business Barbados for years has a special niche: entering data for academic scientific publications. Can't think of many 3W countries who could bring this off. Certainly not Jamaica
