Double-clicked a .acorn file and it opened in xScope.

@ccgus@gte@chockenberry@mjtsai xScope apparently declares itself a viewer of Acorn docs via CFBundleTypeExtensions rather than a UTI. -
@ccgus@gte@chockenberry@mjtsai xScope should provide a UTImportedTypeDeclaration for Acorn docs and declare itself a viewer of that UTI. -
@ccgus@gte@chockenberry@mjtsai That said xScope is a Viewer and Acorn is an Editor—so please attach `lsregister -dump` output to a radar! - View other replies

@optshiftk@ccgus@gte@chockenberry Radar 28472737. -
@mjtsai@ccgus@gte@chockenberry Thanks.@grynspan would know if any other attachments are helpful. -
@optshiftk@mjtsai@ccgus@gte@chockenberry Would want to know: does the problem happen for all .acorn files or just one? - View other replies

@grynspan@optshiftk@ccgus@gte@chockenberry It’s not happening for any .acorn files anymore, even the original one. -
@mjtsai@optshiftk@ccgus@gte@chockenberry Then I guess it will remain a mystery. Could have been that Acorn was not known to LS yet. - Show more

@ccgus@gte@chockenberry Sierra, yes. I do have Acorn installed, and I was hoping it would have precedence. -
@ccgus@gte@chockenberry@mjtsai Two third-party apps, both alike in dignity. -
@ccgus@chockenberry Oh. I was assuming@mjtsai didn't have Acorn installed on that machine. If he did then that's likely unintended. -

@ccgus@gte@chockenberry@mjtsai Wonder if there’s anyone around who’s knowledgable about LS … ( psst@grynspan ) -
@realmrpippy@ccgus@gte@chockenberry@mjtsai I just took a look. Without an LS DB dump, I couldn't really tell you why xScope was picked.
