@cauce Might also make it eaiser to run spam traps for DMs. A lot of DM spam (from compromised accounts) isn't picked up.
@martijn_grooten I suppose. But surely Twitter already has this capability and a honeypot network? Do we need to do their work for them?

@cauce Traps aren't just interesting to stop the spam. I'd love to have a feed of URLs seen in spammy DMs. -
