Following the Uber breach, you'll get a lot of advice like "use 2FA" or "disable IPv6," but snake-oil advice like this can't fully protect from outsider threats.
Instead, try this:
• disable IPv6 *and* IPv4
• unplug any remaining network devices
• turn off your laptop and go

"When presented with long, straight, wide, smooth roads that look like highways, drivers speed up because it feels “safe” to do so. On Eastern Parkway, the posted speed limit is 25 miles per hour, but drivers regularly exceed 40."

There is altogether not enough outrage that the city can’t find ways to get drivers with 115 camera-issued moving violations off the road

A tragedy occurred in our community this afternoon. A pedestrian fatality involving a private sanitation truck at Atlantic & Flatbush.
This is one of most dangerous intersections in NYC. We've brought it up repeatedly with DOT & we need action now. Traffic deaths are avoidable.

Today was my last day at da goog! I’ve had the privilege of working with some of the most amazing people over the last five years, and they sure made it hard to leave—but I’m ready to take a nice long break, and then get started on something new.

People are talking about this Texas reproductive coercion law as a “slippery slope…”
Let me be VERY CLEAR:
That slope started back with the Hyde Amendment, waiting periods, arbitrary gestational limits, etc
We’re sitting at the bottom of the slope we’ve already slid down.

I'm so grateful to the

I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you're referring to as Linux on Mars, is in fact GNU/Linux on Mars, or as I've recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux on Mars. Linux on Mars is not an operating system on a planet unto itself, but
