I support you but this #BellLetsTalk
is nothing more than "make everyone else feel better by being involved".
The reality is cuts to health care, wait lines for emergency psych services, months for Vets Affairs to react, denials by WCB, lay off by employer when mentally ill.

While I agree with what you say Bruce ...as someone who suffered quietly for years ....if this day gets just one person to ask for help...it’s worth all the corporate greed and propaganda

When I had my last major crisis, ALL I did was talk. I asked every care provider I saw for months for help and got shrugs. I didn’t have the money to pay out of pocket for private counseling so I got nothing _not_a_damn_thing_ until I moved to BC from ON. 1/2

Fraser Health got me into care in 10 days when I’d been 9 months absolutely red lining it in Ontario. I COULD HAVE DIED AND TALKING ABOUT IT DID NOTHING IN ONTARIO

Very true, I was diagnosed in 1981 at the age of 11 with Bipolar Disorder. It was such an isolating experience. I was even called names by my school secretary. Now working in mental health I can help change the conversation
