The next @lincspolice Ethics Panel is coming up. We are going to be talking about current approaches to Policing drugs. As it's such a controversial subject area, I thought a few polls to roughly gauge opinion and to spark debate might be interesting.

Too much crossover - again. Like MH provision

A valid concern, but it appears to be a minority one atm. Will def be discussing this next week.

Scary to see 14% of police would be happy to have no ability to save someone who's drink was spiked for example and caused them to od. There to protect and serve but would happily not be involved in saving someones life in this case
should hand your badges in if you voted no. -
It's not that simple & I hope we can have these conversations without negativity towards a group of people. There are complex reasons why some may not be comfortable for Officers to carry Naloxone atm. I may have caused you angst by the way I set the polls. Wasnt my intention.

Naloxone is a good idea. Legalising drugs isn’t. Canada, the latest example is failing.https://www.bbc.com/news/amp/world-us-canada-50664578 …

Possibly because of how they went about it...I'm still looking at Canada & Portugal to pick out some basic learning from a huge amount of biased reporting.

Little bit of intranasal naloxone seems perfectly sensible to me.
