    There are more people in the CH room discussing whether Meek was right than in the room where Philly artists are playing their music, which is the problem with how that went.

    The number of young Black journalists who reach out and share that they feel invisible in their newsrooms is heartbreaking. And this comes after a summer of newsrooms pledging to do more and be better.

    There is no writer on Philly hip hop who I respect more than John Morrison. He cares about the details that you'd have to be from here to know, then sees what even other locals haven't. This publication is more than a win for Halfway Books. This is a victory for Philadelphia.

    A legitimate question for all newsrooms right now: “Who do you report for? The people or the Police.”

    There is also community grief CBS. Looting is not the only thing that matters when a community is hurting. Who do you report for? The people or the Police. A narrative is clearly missing here.
