I like to cook them for 24 hrs like this and then you throw homemade BBQ sauce and cook for another hour on the grill. It’s literally the best way to get it tender.

Yes. 200* for 24 hours, drain fluid and retain and then put your sauce on. Cook for another hour at 400 uncovered. The outside will be crisp like burnt ends and inside almost too tender....
