There are 6 major studios in the US whose films have collectively grossed over $3 billion in the last decade: Disney, Pixar, Illumination, Dreamworks, Blue Sky and Sony Pictures Animation. Disney owned half of those studios until they shut down Blue Sky today.

Comcast/NBCUniversals owns two of them (Illumination, Dreamworks) and Japan's Sony owns the other one.

Where does WAG come in? Had hoped the Lego movies had become a profitable enough franchise for them.

I think each one profited less than the previous, until Warner cancelled the franchise. Now Universal will continue
