We live in a patriarchal society! Men are the default. The fact that they are the standard for enemy combatants is not oppressive or limiting. It reflects and reinforces their position as the default.
You're not getting it. If women were centered as much as men & were presented as heroes & villains & geniuses & fools & kind & cruel & were depicted as fully human and occupying the entirety of the human spectrum and weren't defined in relation to men, there wouldn't be an issue.

The fact that men victimize other men and that men victimize women is related to toxic masculinity. These examples ignore that men have wider representation as a whole. A =/= B in this case. Our role in society is not determined by subservience or victimization.

Hahaha, I don’t hate individuality! But I’m a socialist. We live in an interconnected web. Like it or not, we affect each other. Millionaires and billionaires don’t make their fortunes alone. They rely on the labor of dozens or hundreds or thousands.
