Omg I read this article by Ebony back when it was first put up and I remember desperately scouring my mind for people that it would be relevant to share with because I loved it so much.
Yeah, it's a pretty nice article, and it opens up a lot of doors in analyzing the horror genre and all it's representations of human "monster types" as tropes. What do each of them represent, why are we supposed to fear them and why are they unsettling?
