Shouldn't any society make certain that the inborn urges of it's members can be fulfilled on some level? And if it doesn't, isn't such a society telling some of its members that they must suffer in chastity? How is that any different than the religious....

We have many types of urges, the most common are sexual and aggressive. We feel the urge to punch people when we feel slighted. By your logic I would propose to legalize a business of using people as punching bags...

An urge is not necesary, you will not die because you did not have sex. The urge can be assuaded by masturbation. It not the same as water, food or even affection in children. without these the body literally degenarates.

The urge doesnt make people do bad things because they have needs. It makes people bad things because culture and individuals revolve their identity around their urges.

I see what you mean, much of these problems are cultural, and should be addressed on a cultural level, I agree. But addressing the cultural aspects alone does not address the suffering created by bodily deprivation of the urge. That still needs to be addressed in a way that....

I dont mean to leave people out in the cold I just firmly believe psychological counselling is the gold standard to solve these issues without getting into the complex issue of sexual work. I truly believe this will lead to healing and betterment

The same could be said about marriage, or a lasting relationship. Ideally everyone could be satisfied but the truth id life doesnt always satisfy all our needs. It doesnt mean getting mail order brides is the solution so everyone is happy bcs theres always someone else involved
