We're not saying that video games like GTA make people drive on the sidewalk, it's that video games shape the way we view the world, including what constitutes masculinity. When you codify violence as an expression of masculinity, you nudge your audience in that direction.
So you’re saying members of the public should never organize against media they find harmful? If an openly racist film was released, would you think that people shouldn’t comment on it, shouldn’t condemn it?
