Um. This shit is toxic. It does material harm to people's lives. I'm still going to see the movie but the cultural impact of this messaging throughout pop culture has to be part of the conversation.

I read the article. The movie is about a boy trying to find the Easter egg to gain control of the Oasis. That’s the basic premise of the movie. He is trying to find this macguffin. I don’t see your point.
