I wanna rant about this so badly, but I think it might be more productive for you to solicit the opinions of the actual women who HELD those jobs directly and see if they view this as a step forward or a step back. I'm guessing most don't see it as libertartng.

The reason being is, in your zeal for idealism, you forgot to account for real world consequences. Sort of like the minimum wage. Yeah, it's great you want them to have hire wages, but it ignores the fact that employers will simply fire those who don't produce enough value.
