Representation matters. You may not see it because as a dude you've seen yourself represented your entire life. But the images we see in the media inform our understanding of what it means to be a woman, or a man.

Some made up character in a video game shouldn’t be a role model for young children. Good people in high political power should. Also a creator shouldn’t have the responsibility of representing a group of people

Well games matter whether you like it or not. Young girls who play Mario games often ask why girls don't get to rescue anyone. We absorb messages, values, etc. from the media we're exposed to.

Oh my god. You're doing that cherry-picking thing again. The existence of some pieces of media here and there that center women as heroic doesn't change the reality that things are incredibly imbalanced.

They aren't even choosing male characters be use they prefer males, they have a specific vision, and they shouldn't have to change it to make a certain group happy.

But what informs that vision? What shapes that vision? And what message does that vision send? It's not something that exists in some kind of cultural vacuum. Games contribute to it. They perpetuate it.
